Deloitte is seeking a Consultant (Ecologist) to join the Business Process Solutions group within the Tax & Legal department at the Moscow office.

The Business Process Solutions group works specifically with projects involving maintenance of accounting and tax books of clients, preparation of accounting, tax and other statutory reporting, payroll processing, HR administration for companies operating in all industries. Our clients are mainly foreign owned companies represented in Russia either as Russian Legal Entities with 100% foreign capital or as branches or representative offices. You will be exposed to a variety of major multinational and Russian corporations as well as to global companies investing in Russia. We are a practice that is expanding rapidly, and we are completely committed to attracting and retaining highly skilled talent to join our team.

The role will involve:
• Preparing written proposals and recommendations on environmental legislation matters in Russian and in English (duty on negative environmental impact, best available technology, calculation of duty, compliance and filling the special declarations);
• Communicating with potential clients and public authorities;
• Operating Consultant+ Arbitr.ru to collect and analyze data on regulatory documents and court practice as regards environmental legislation.

 

Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years of experience as an ecologist in a large industrial group or in Rosprirodnadzor, Ministry of Natural Resources on the area of duty on negative environmental impact, best available technology.

• A must: experience with regulations and interaction with Rosprirodnadzor and the Ministry of Natural Resources, participation in judicial proceedings on environmental disputes, knowledge of the latest changes in environmental legislation (best available technology, extended obligations of manufacturers, negative impact on the environment), benefits related to environmental activities, working with reporting documentation to be submitted to public authorities.
• Excellent communication skills – fluent Russian and upper-intermediate English.
• All candidates must have full travel mobility and the right to live and work in Russian Federation
