Deloitte CIS is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Business Intelligence Group within the Internal Client Services Department; the position is located at our Moscow office.

The Business Intelligence group performs comprehensive integrity reviews and due diligence on companies and individuals by using data from public information sources and the latest available analytical tools. The group provides the following services:

  • Due diligence on business counterparties;
  • Risk mapping and risk diagnostics for all business counterparties;
  • Analysis of the relationships and business interests of a client’s employees in order to identify conflicts of interest;
  • Support for client due diligence consulting services to minimize tax risks;
  • Counterparty check training for a client’s employees.

 

The role will involve:

  • Searching and processing publicly available information: data search on designated themes, legal entities and/or individuals;
  • Usage of special software for data processing (including visual relationship analysis);
  • Structured and unstructured data analysis;
  • Preparation of reports (primarily in English);
  • Involvement in delivering of the key findings to the Clients;
  • Training and management of consultants (both in terms of researching and report writing);
  • Project management (overseeing the BIS projects from the beginning to the end).

 

Requirements:

  • MA degree or its equivalent from one of the top universities (preferred specialization: economics, finance, journalism, political science, sociology).
  • 3+ years of experience in the field of analytics, journalism, banking and finance, etc.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Russian and English are a must. Knowledge of other languages would be a plus.
  • Accuracy and attention to details.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Responsibility and accountability.
  • Ability to take ownership of his/her work.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to structure large volumes of information and prepare digests;
  • Critical thinking, ability to separate facts from opinions as well as reputable and reliable sources of information from second tier media sources;
  • Skills in usage of various information sources, including corporate and media databases (SPARK Interfax, Integrum, Factiva, etc.), efficient use of search engines (Google, Yandex, etc.) involving advanced searches;
  • Mastery of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Good knowledge of Russian political and economic landscape (key decision makers, top businessmen, largest market participants, etc.);
  • Ability to clearly and concisely present ideas;
  • All candidates must have full travel mobility and a permit to live and work in Russian Federation.
