Junior Lawyer

Deloitte in Ukraine is currently looking for a junior legal professional to join our Tax and Legal Department. You will be able to engage in projects related to corporate, immigration, and employment law.

The role will involve:

  • Working under the supervision of a Senior Consultant or Manager
  • Legal support of immigration matters to residents and non-residents of Ukraine: drafting and submitting documents for permits to state authorities, accompanying clients to appointments with authorities, reporting on the case status to the client, etc.
  • Legal support on employment matters: drafting employment documents, researching legislation, and preparing legal advice
  • Legal help on their projects, such as M&A transactions, legal due diligence reports, companies' setup and reorganization (drafting and submitting documents to authorities, legal research)
  • Drafting, negotiating, amending agreements and legal memorandums
  • Drafting proposals and responses to clients' requests
  • Participating in client meetings and conference calls

Qualifications:

  • Higher legal education
  • Availability to visit state authorities within Kyiv and occasionally to other cities
  • Good education background in all of the following areas: corporate, commercial, labor law
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team and to manage multiple engagements
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English, Ukrainian, and Russian
  • Experience in corporate and employment law or HR administration is a plus
