Your business unit:

At Deloitte, we provide tax compliance, financial, and tax accounting services using an approach designed to provide the flexibility to serve the circumstances and complexities of our clients. As a full-time professional, you will be able to apply your tax knowledge and accounting skills to help the clients build and strengthen their accounting function and comply with reporting standards based on your understanding of their businesses, transactions, and internal control processes. You will gain exposure to a variety of industries and business models to increase your understanding of how organizations operate.

The role will involve:

  • Assisting clients in tax compliance and accounting work
  • Reviewing the work completed by junior consultants  
  • Regular communication with clients to address their questions relating to accounting and tax compliance  matters
  • Liaison with tax and other state authorities in the course of daily work or statutory audits
  • Coaching and mentoring junior specialists, provision of on the job and theoretical tax/accounting training to junior staff
  • Fulfill other related tasks assigned by team leaders


  • University degree in Economics/Finance
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting/finance/tax
  • Advanced written and spoken Azerbaijani and English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications, knowledge of 1C or any other accounting software
  • The high degree of self-motivation and strong career aspirations
  • Ability to work in a team
  • High commitment to work
  • Ability to thrive in an environment of pressing deadlines and dynamic conditions.

Additional advantages:

  • Experience with a Big Four or Azerbaijani accounting services organization
  • Knowledge of Azerbaijani tax and social insurance legislation
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Having ACCA papers passed
  • Good written and spoken Russian
