Deloitte is seeking a Junior Consultant Assistant to join the Consulting Department at the Almaty office. 

The role will involve:

 

Participating in various types of projects focusing market entry assessment, market research, financial and operational processes, strategy development, organizational and HR transformations, M&A, private equity, venture capital, technology strategy and integration.

 

Qualifications: 

• BA/BS in Mathematics, Engineering, Finance (at least) from a reputable university 
• Advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA, MS, PhD, etc.) is highly desirable, preferably from a reputable American, European, or Asian university 
• Exceptional academic achievements is an absolute must 
• Outstanding writing, presentation and verbal communication skills both in Russian and English 
• Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
• Ability to seek and find simplicity by breaking down complex problems 
• Strong MS Excel skills with basic financial modeling is a huge advantage 
• Ability to develop high quality presentations preferred 
• Exceptional analytical, problem solving and reporting skills 
• Business acumen across various industries 
• High level of curiosity and eagerness to learn new knowledge, explore the unexplored and take on new challenges 
• Availability for business trips and willingness to travel in Kazakhstan and Central Asia 
• Result oriented with great attention to details and quality of the results 
• Maturity, strong personal drive and self-motivation 
• Habit of taking ownership and responsibility 
• Achievements in sport
